We start with a fondant cream center: a mixture of sugar, corn syrup and water heated to just the right temperature. Then we whip the mixture to fluffy perfection, giving Cherry Mash its smooth, creamy center.
We mix the fluffy fondant with real crushed maraschino cherries and form it into round Cherry Mash centers.
Next, the creamy cherry mound gets a coating of chocolate with fresh, ground, roasted peanuts.
Finally, the creamy cherry mound gets a second layer of the chocolate-peanut mixture for full chocolate coverage.
